Genealogy Gophers searches the text of over 40,000 genealogies and other online books for the terms (name, place, titles, dates) that you input and returns screenshots and titles in the search results. Clicking on the results takes you to a page with an extract and gate-keeping survey questions. You can either answer the question to be presented with the entire book embedded in the page, or you can use the extract to go straight to the source of the digitized book. I found 5 pages of results when searching for a name that I know has been included in multiple published genealogies. Your results will be dependent on whether the name you are searching has been included in published genealogies.
