Michigan State Archives publishes Seeking Michigan, the online platform for the Michigan Historical Center. In addition to death records from 1897-1939 (additions are on a rolling basis according to privacy laws) and death indices from 1940-1952, there are a number of collections ranging from pre-statehood to the late 1960s, including letters, diaries, photographs, postcards, and video.
